Vulnerable beaches at the Jersey Shore - hit hard by the Veterans Day nor'easter - may get pounded again today.
A storm warning is in effect for coastal waters, with wind gusts expected to hit about 57 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Seas are expected to build to 8 to 12 feet.
The tides are running at least 2 feet above normal, and minor tidal flooding may take place on Thursday morning, according to the weather service.

Last weekend's nor'easter, which dropped up to 28.5 inches of snow in New Jersey, also took a bite out of some of its beaches and dunes, according to a state Department of Environmental Protection report.
That storm packed gusts of up to 50 mph and generated seas nearly 23 feet high, according to the report. Surf heights generally ranged from 4 to 6 feet, with bigger waves in several areas.
DEP inspectors surveyed the coastline on Monday and found eroded dunes in Harvey Cedars, Surf City, the Brant Beach section of Long Beach Township, Beach Haven and some towns farther south, according to the report.
